With the  warmer weather that arrived today we made our first real batch of amber syrup. Many people seem to prefer this type of syrup which has a stronger flavour. It is also the referred grade for cooking. So we now have all grades of syrup available. We are also busy filling back orders and if you ordered syrup you should get a call soon to say its ready.

Tomorrow is the start of Maple Weekend and a good time to make a visit to one or more of the maple producers in Lanark and District. See the Maple Weekend website for more details. The camp is open from 10 to 5 and all our activities are also open. In response to several requests dogs are welcome provided they are well controlled and on a leash.
