It was such a fun day to visit your Maple Farm today. We got to meet the Kettle Boys who were entertaining and educating. Maple sugar that is made on an open fire does have a special flavour, loved it. We enjoyed walking some of the trails which have interesting marker points to stop and look at. We first found your sugar bush last year on a “road adventure” when our children were 1 and 2!! ever since that visit we vowed to come back as it was the perfect sugar bush for us (who could say no to free samples ?) We came back and had an even better time this year than last as we knew how to have fun with the kettle boys!! We only bought one bottle last year a learned that that was not enough and learned that we could freeze the maple syrup!! I’ve been coming to the camp for years for my “fix” of maple syrup but unfortunately I wasn’t able to get up to the Ottawa area this year.
